Why is visual marketing so important?

Visual Communication
If you want to be remembered, nothing is more important than visual materials. Studies show that humans can recall 65% of the visual content they see up to three days later, compared to only 10% of written content.
This increased recall is due to the brain's ability to process images 60,000 times faster than text, making visuals an effective medium to transfer information.
So - how can we use this to our advantage? There are a couple of things I would suggest. For instance, make sure that your brand's visuals maintain a consistent style, color palette, and theme across all platforms. This not only strengthens brand recognition but also builds trust with your audience. Using design guidelines or templates can help maintain this uniformity. Don't hesitate to ask for professional help on this - a good graphic designer can make all the difference. There is a reason why the most successful businesses often have graphic designers in their team of founders.
Don't flood your audience with countless low quality visuals and expect a positive outcome. Invest in making high quality, impactful images and videos, because those are the ones that are most likely to engage viewers and leave a lasting impression. When you've made the visuals and posted, printed or in other ways published them, don't forget to monitor and analyse which visual content resonates most with your audience. Create your visuals based on their preferences, be it infographics, video content, or interactive graphics. Using analytics tools can help you weigh the effectiveness of different visual strategies and refine them accordingly.
